About us

We are two friends from London who, over a bottle of rum - while embarking on rather a foolhardy trip through uncharted Colombian territory - had an idea. Although almost illegible the scrawlings made that evening, the ideas established evolved into a burning desire to see the project through and start a company that would provide holidays for a niche market.

Richard McColl – a Colombia-based freelance journalist with almost a decade in South America under his belt as a writer, tour guide and social projects coordinator relocated to this fantastic country in 2007 and feeling
thwarted by the lack of tourism infrastructure decided to set up his own hotel/ guesthouse in Mompos.

Charlie Kennedy – a long-time advertising guru in London, Charlie travelled to Colombia in his gap year way back in 1996 and has subsequently travelled extensively through Central & South America. He can currently be found AWOL on a world tour either climbing up large steep things or diving.
